Local One Industrial IT Security Coordinator

As a Local-OTx (Local One Industrial IT Security Coordinator) and Technical IT, you will play a key role within the Bosch One Industrial IT Security framework, coordinating and supporting the implementation of Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity requirements across Manufacturing and Logistics domains.

You will act as the local interface between operational teams, technical departments, and central security organizations, ensuring the protection, integrity, and availability of industrial systems and infrastructures.

Your responsibilities will include:

Local-OTx

• Coordinate and support the implementation of Industrial IT Security standards, directives, and OT cybersecurity measures within the local operational environment;
• Act as the local interface between operational teams, technical departments, and central security organizations for all OT security-related topics;
• Develop, maintain, and improve local OT security concepts, emergency concepts, and operational security documentation;
• Manage and maintain OT asset inventories, security zones, firewall concepts, network segmentation, and access control measures for industrial environments;
• Perform cybersecurity risk assessments, security reviews, self-assessments, and audits while coordinating mitigation and corrective actions;
• Support secure lifecycle management of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS), including Start of Production (SOP), backup and recovery, disaster recovery, patching, and secure decommissioning processes;
• Monitor cybersecurity advisories, vulnerabilities, and security events, supporting incident response and compliance activities;
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and ensure completion of mandatory OT security trainings for employees and relevant stakeholders;
• Collaborate closely with OT planners, OT technicians, Information Security teams, and management to ensure alignment with global security requirements and operational needs;
• Participate in regional and international OT security meetings, working groups, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Technical IT

• Ensure compliance with manufacturing and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) standards across production areas;

• Coordinate and support MES tools and Manufacturing IT solutions within different production departments;

• Act as the main interface between production teams and central support functions such as DC/MFI and BCI;

• Collaborate on Industry 4.0 initiatives and digitalization projects to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.

• University degree in Information Technology, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field;

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial IT, Automation, Infrastructure, or Cybersecurity environments;

• Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS), OT infrastructures, industrial communication networks, and cybersecurity principles;

• Experience with OT asset management, network segmentation, firewall management, access control concepts, and risk assessment activities;

• Familiarity with industrial technologies such as PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, industrial networks, and manufacturing infrastructures;

• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, ISO standards, and Industrial IT Security concepts is considered an advantage;

• Knowledge of Quality Management processes and operational compliance requirements is an advantage;

• ITIL knowledge and project management experience are considered a plus;

• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills;

• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical IT departments, operational teams, and management stakeholders;

• Fluent English skills are required.
