Product Cost Manager

Your tasks

• Responsible Product Cost Manager for respective electrification product
• Target setting PPC (Planned Product Costs) in close alignment with Purchasing, Production and Controlling departments
• Driving BIG5 and volume drop claims in close alignment with Sales responsible for sales price adjustment
• Drive the cost work on PPC level towards the targets
• Achieve greenfield targets incl. driving supplier workshops for MAT A-Components and VA
• Leading cross-functional team incl. purchasing, engineering, production, logistic and sales for generating cost down measures and pushing early implementation
• Active contribution to CATT (Sustainable Purchasing Project)
• Driver for TCO based decision making
• Support project calculations (Pro Re, CFx, BP) incl. consolidation of chances/risks
• Reporting PPC status in RPP Jour-Fixe, Product Cost Steering committee as well as in Path to Profit BV Review

Your profile

• University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable role
• Strong analytical mindset combined with a structured and result-oriented way of working
• Proven ability to take ownership, demonstrate leadership, and drive initiatives independently
• Entrepreneurial thinking with a proactive and solution-focused attitude
• Strong execution skills with a track record of successfully implementing improvements and delivering results
• Advanced reporting and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
• German language skills are considered an advantage
