SAP Test Manager (Governance, Strategy & Automation Lead) (f/m/div.) at Bosch
About the role
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Test Manager to lead enterprise-wide test governance, strategy, and automation initiatives for large-scale SAP transformation program. This role will ensure end-to-end quality across digital core transformation, including data integrations, Fiori enablement, and global template rollouts.
A key expectation of this role is to define and drive the test automation strategy, with strong expertise in Worksoft Certify, along with governance of Open Text ALM,SAP Solution Manager Test Suite,Jira, and executive dashboarding via Power BI.
Your contribution to something big: 1.
SAP Test Strategy & Governance:
- Define enterprise-wide SAP (ECC & S/4 HANA) test strategy covering: End-to-end business processes; RICEFW objects; SAP Fiori applications; Cross-system integrations (SAP & Non-SAP)
- Establish governance model aligned with SAP Activate methodology phases.
- Define regression strategy for ECC to S/4 coexistence landscapes.
- Support quality gates, defining and delivering KPIs, risk frameworks, rules and controls.
2. Automation Strategy & Leadership (Worksoft Certify)
- Define and implement enterprise test automation roadmap.
- Lead automation design using Worksoft Certify for:
- End-to-end process automation
- Regression pack automation
- Data-driven test scenarios
- Fiori and GUI automation
- Establish automation coverage targets and ROI tracking.
- Integrate automation suite with:
- OT ALM / Sol Man / Jira for traceability
- Drive reduction of manual regression effort and improve efficiency.
- Mentor automation architects and build internal automation capability.
3. End-to-End Transformation Test Management
- Oversee complete lifecycle of SAP projects:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Regression (Manual & Automated)
- Integration Testing (SAP & Non-SAP)
- Performance & Volume Testing
- Go-live Testing
- Lead defect triage governance and risk-based prioritization.
- Ensure production defect leakage is minimized.
4. Tools & ALM Governance
- Govern and optimize usage of:
- Open Text ALM (OT ALM)
- SAP Solution Manager (Sol Man – Test Suite)
- JIRA
- Ensure requirement-to-defect traceability across tools.
- Establish harmonized reporting model across global SAP projects.
5. Reporting & Executive Dashboards
- Develop real-time dashboards in Microsoft Power BI for:
- Overall Test status across projects
- Automation progress status
- Regression execution trends
- Defect leakage metrics
- Go-live readiness KPIs
- Provide Steering Committee-level quality insights and predictive risk indicators.
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Leadership
- Collaborate with Program Directors, Project Managers, Business Process Owners, Functional Leads, Automation Partners and business users across regions.
- Prepare and Deliver stakeholder reports providing complete transparency.
- Support project managers to conduct go/no-go assessments.
What distinguishes you: Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a comparable field
Experience
- Extensive experience in SAP Testing and Quality Assurance
- Several years in Test Management or Test Governance roles
- Proven involvement in full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions
- Experience working in global, distributed environments
Know-how
- Strong expertise in SAP test automation, especially with Worksoft Certify
- Experience designing automation frameworks and optimizing regression testing
- Familiarity with tools such as Open Text ALM, SAP Solution Manager (Test Suite & ChaRM), JIRA, and Power BI
- Knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD, PP, EWM) is a plus
