About the role
Job Summary
1.1 Physical logistic tasks of receiving, warehouse and shipping.
1.2 Interact with cross functional team within Plant and Bosch.
1.3 Interact with external parties – Logistics Service Providers, Liners etc.
1.4 Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
Job Scope
2.1 Responsible for the physical logistic tasks of receiving, warehousing, and shipping to ensure the quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
2.2 Responsible for the accuracy of inventory with physical counts and reconciliation
2.3 Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
2.4 Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
2.5 Manage overall LOM performance results with coaching, counseling, and disciplining associates, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
2.6 Achieve financial objectives and prepare annual budget, expenditures, analyze variances and corrective actions.
2.7 Lead and participate actively in Bosch Production System (BPS) related activities.
2.8 Support and prepare management reporting as and when necessary.
2.9 Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Degree in any discipline with related working experience.
- Minimum 10 years working experience in physical logistics in manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of work safety and transporting hazardous materials is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners.
- Be flexible to take on ad-hoc assignment or project as necessary.
- Understands impact and consequences of own actions.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Meticulous, result oriented, motivated, resourceful, self-starter, ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
