About the role
To work on the following tasks with guidance:
1. To setup functional test system for product lines based on test specification (PAV) provided by PTE team
accordingly to following requirement:
- To track project budget and ensure equipment cost within the planed budget.
- On time delivery of test systems to the production line according to project milestone (include manage of equipment, hardware interface and mechanical jig and fixture purchase)
- Release the test system according to Test System Release Procedure.
- To train and coach maintenance team to be able to handle test system breakdown more effectively and maintain test system in achieving FPY (NTF related FOR) and OEE target. (eg. Propose Preventive Maintenance plan, analysis tool of breakdown causes, Test System Setup guideline and test fixture and job design concept)
- Apply standardization in functional area to have lean process across projects.
- To participate in project meeting to clarify plant/ production requirement on test system.
3. Responsible on full test implementation according to test procedure according to PAV defined by PTE team
and achieve defined test coverage, make sure alignment and calibration process (such of flashing of
memory, tuner alignment/ calibration.) is in line with test procedure.
4. To support line for trouble shooting in test system.
5. General support on the following:
- To support operation on functional area performance in FPY, TFOR, OEE
- To analyze MIS data and coordinate improvement activities on test time reduction and machine efficiency.
- Early involved in new model concept discussion with PTE/CoC and TEF7, to ensure smooth handling from new project set up team after SOP.
6. Any other TEF7 related duties assigned to.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field
- Fresh graduate or up to 1–2 years of relevant experience (internship or industrial training acceptable)
- Basic knowledge of electronics testing and measurement techniques
- Familiar with lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supply, etc.)
- Understanding of test methodologies and problem‑solving concepts (RCCA)
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge (e.g. Python, C, LabVIEW) is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Willing to learn, proactive, and able to work independently with guidance
- Leave Entitlement e.g: Annual Leave, Medical Leave and etc
