  • Test real-world scenarios in a vehicle and document results as needed.
  • Drive vehicles to and from customer sites as required.
  • Contribute to small development projects aimed at increasing testing efficiency.
  • Collect vehicle data as needed.
  • Help manage inventory of test and development equipment.
  • Update process documentation (operator instructions, guides, forms, etc.).
  • Prepare test environments (vehicle/bumper setup, CANape configuration, DGPS, etc.).
  • Communicate testing status and any impediments to project stakeholders.

Required:

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.

  • Hands-on, practical mindset with a focus on quality and reliability.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills.

Preferred:

  • Competence in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, JavaScript, Bash) used to automate tests, process data, or build lightweight test utilities
  • Experience with data capture, logging, analysis, and validation using automotive measurement tools.
  • Basic understanding of ADAS features (e.g., adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, automatic emergency braking) and sensor modalities (radar, camera, ultrasonic, LiDAR).
  • Familiarity with creating, prioritizing, and tracking tasks and issues.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electronic systems, ECUs, and network topologies (CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Proficient in setting up and using measurement instruments for data capture, diagnostics, and validation.
  • Exposure to automotive electronics hardware, bench testing, debugging, and/or work with HIL environments; practical understanding of how hardware and software interact in a vehicle context.
