About the role
Your tasks
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and deliver advanced driver assistance functions for next-generation vehicles. In this role, you will transform system requirements into vehicle control functionalities, ensuring safety, performance, and driver comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the software design for ADAS driving functions;
- Develop and maintain embedded software for;
- Longitudinal control functions;
- Lateral control functions;
- Driver assistance and intervention strategies;
- Safety and comfort feature implementation;
- Design and implement control logic in C/C++ for automotive embedded systems;
- Drive requirements analysis, implementation, reviews, and traceability;
- Support vehicle testing, calibration, and performance optimization;
- Develop engineering tools and automation scripts using Python;
- Analyze vehicle measurements and system behavior using Vector toolchain;
- Collaborate closely with system architects, vehicle dynamics, and safety teams;
- Support software verification, validation, and integration activities;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies.
Your profile
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ development for embedded systems;
- Experience with ADAS systems is a plus;
- Understanding of longitudinal and lateral vehicle dynamics;
- Good understanding of software development processes;
- Experience with Python scripting and automation;
- Familiarity with Git, DOORS, and Vector tools;
- Knowledge of software architecture and real-time systems;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document architecture, APIs and integration guidelines.
