
Archiving Systems Engineer (f/m) at Bosch
About the role
As an Archiving Systems Engineer and a member of the Global Archiving Services Department at Bosch, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and administering various systems, including but not limited to MS Windows Servers, Oracle/SQL databases, Open Text products Content Server/Archiving Center.
- Setting up new archiving systems and processes.
- Maintaining existing archiving systems, including patching and upgrades.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing archiving systems, serving as the final internal escalation point before involving external vendors (e.g., Open Text).
- Monitoring and reporting on infrastructure health.
- Optimizing and automating routine processes and tasks.
- Providing consultation to Bosch internal stakeholders, including colleagues from other IT departments and broader business units, on archiving services, processes, and scenarios.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Operating Systems & Server Administration:
MS Windows Server administration
- Enterprise Content Management:
Experience with Open Text products, including ECM, Content Server, and Archive Center
- Databases:
Proficiency with SQL, MS SQL, and Oracle databases
- Scripting & Automation:
PowerShell scripting, Automic Automation
- Web Servers:
Tomcat and Microsoft IIS
- System Integration:
Integration of archiving solutions with SAP
