AI/ML Expert

Job Description:

• Need an individual with a strong understanding of AI/ML, with a specific focus on applied research and innovation in autonomous systems and conversational AI.

• Should be highly proficient in Python and possess extensive hands-on experience in AI agent framework design and development, like utilising Lang Chain-based APIs.

• Must have strong foundational knowledge of NLP and proven hands-on experience in the development of sophisticated conversational agents.

• In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Small Language Models (SLMs), including a minimum of 1-2 years of specific experience in model fine-tuning.

• Must possess strong expertise in the quantization of language models and the deployment of these optimized models (SLM/LLM) directly on edge or embedded devices. (Note: Cloud infrastructure skills such as AWS or Azure are not required for this role).

• Experience with Voice AI is a strong plus; specific knowledge of handling speech technologies (ASR/STT, TTS, and Intent/Entity extraction) is highly valued for our core work. Experience of working with Indian languages is a strong plus.

• Key Responsibilities: Drive innovation by developing edge-optimized language models, architecting multi-agent systems, and scripting robust data analysis and model evaluation pipelines.

• A strong academic or industry research track record is highly appreciated, particularly having good papers published in reputed AI/ML conferences.

• Strong problem-solving skills, an analytical mindset, and excellent teamwork skills to thrive in a fast-paced R&D environment.
