
Technician Tightening Systems
About the role
The Tightening Systems Technician is responsible for assembly, testing, and repair of our Bosch Rexroth tightening systems product.

Works independently with minimal supervision to prioritize and complete tasks for Bosch Rexroth tightening products and systems

Assemble and test tightening products per production work orders and Bill of Material (BOM)

Repair and testing of tightening products and systems following blueprint and product manual instructions with hand tools and mechanical and electrical testing equipment

Analysis of test results, including (where applicable) statements of conformity or interpretation

Report, review, and authorization of results

Conduct failure analysis in case of warranty claims and quotations to customers for non-warranty repairs

Maintain a safe and clean work environment and continuously improve processes and deliver conforming quality products and services to internal and external customers per the Bosch Rexroth Quality system

Provide occasional field service, replacement and installation services of Bosch Rexroth products and components for customers

Travel required as necessary (10%)

Participate in departmental and divisional trainings and meetings as required

Other varied tasks as so directed

Comprehensive product knowledge of Tightening Tools or similar products

Proven mechanical/electrical aptitude

Computer system knowledge (MS Office, Outlook, SAP, etc.)

High initiative and self-starter

Exceptional interpersonal communication (written/verbal) skills

Ability to work independently and as in a team

Strong organization/prioritization skills

High technical accuracy

Willingness to travel – for field service and training

High school or equivalent required

2-year associates degree in a technical field preferred

3 years of related experience of Tightening Tools or similar products
