About the role
Mandatory Skills Design of e Axle components including manufacturability (via pressure die cast)Develop concepts and perform design calculations Understands manufacturing drawings and derive detailed design Knowledge and application of GD&T including tolerance stack up analysis Should be able to present and communicate across hierarchy design output, proposals, solutions, and results Understanding of product development / sample phases (QGs)Proficient in UG NX & good understanding of SAP for handling releases Job Description Responsible for e Axle components and assemblies from a constructive point of view (design) ensure functionally, ready for production, meet assembly, within budget construction based on standard technology of the construction kit Accountable for the realization of the mech. design of the respective components of e Axle (Emachine, Transmission, Power Electronics, DC-DC, Charcon) w.r.t interfaces, compliant with the design kit Lead release of the work products (state –materials, norms, production instructions and drawings) incl. release of deviations from design kit by relevant groups and committees (CoC, CoE, ISET, CoreMA)Main contact person and interface to suppliers at a technical level including design topics internal / external for the respective component/assembly Responsible person to ensure the correct system integration of the component Evaluation of component changes (impact on functionality, assembly, quality, manufacturability, costs, timing) DRBFM and FMEA of assembly and product Responsibility for holding or improving component costs (PPC) Prepare documentation and decision for change process (CCB/ECM)
