About the role
Your tasks
Your contribution to something big: Shape the future:
- Within an interdisciplinary team, you are designing mechanical solutions for sensors in complex fire detection systems.
This especially includes the responsibility for the mechanical design of the product from concept phase, through development and start of production until the end-of-life of the product.
Drive reliability:
- Our products save life and assets. Therefore, reliability has highest priority. You are ensuring this with model-based engineering methods, simulations and tests.
Systematic assessments:
- Statistical analysis of tolerances, simulation, reliability tests and field data complete your exciting tasks.
Your profile
What distinguishes you: Education: You have an academic degree in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics or related technical field.
Experience & Know-How:
- You have very good knowledge in mechanical design of plastics and ideally of sheet metal and their production technologies. Furthermore, you have good experience in usage of CREO and PDMLink or comparable tools. Dealing with product data in a PDM system (ideally SAP) is not new for you.
- You can provide excellent structured analytic skills and understanding of physical parameters and cross-system coherences.
Working Style & Methods:
- A proactive, structured, and analytical approach to problem-solving and quality assurance is expected.
