About the role
Core Responsibilities
- Local sales channel strategy development cross BU including implementation.
- Assumes PT duties in the country (towards internal and external stakeholders)
- P&L responsibility (Local Contribution Margin) cross BU incl. sales related budgets and headcounts.
- Lead and develop a local sales team and foster a strong performance culture.
- Develops the PT channel organization, the people and their skills to meet future requirements and success factors.
- Implement sales standards to ensure systematic go to market approach and high efficiency / sales performance
- Constantly identifies and develops talents for higher sales management
- Increase user shopping experience at retail & at target user journey touchpoints
- Responsible for steering, target setting, monitoring of KPIs and securing of agreed sales targets
- Strengthen the OnePT culture (externally and internally)
Tasks
- Generate profitable market share gain by steering sales strategy development and implementation
- Implement pricing strategy including terms & condition management
- Generates cross BU efficiency gains in the sales organization and drives digitalization initiatives
- Continuous market screening, identification of growth potential, risks and trends
- Holds contact to management of national customers and is escalation level after channels directors
- Sparring for channels directors on strategic / conceptional / top customer topics
- Regular alignment of sales-related topics with other key PT stake holders like RBD, SA, BV, …
- Supports regional strategy developments
- Implements business unit strategies
- Best Practice Sharing with other RBDs/CBDs
- Achieves of sales targets (target deployment, monitoring, forecasting, steering). Contributes to overstock reduction.
- Continuous improvement of sales organization: management, coaching and development of sales personnel
- Facilitate smooth collaboration between all functions (sales, marketing, service)
- English fluent (+ native speaker)
- Knowledge of local market environment desirable and local cultural fit

5 years of leadership experience, >10 years of sales experience (depending on country maturity)
- Master of economics, business high school preferable
Mid-Senior Level (6-9 years)
The interview will be conducted in Japanese and English.
