Development Engineer

Develops and compares solution concepts, defines evaluation criteria, and drives design iterations based on test results.

Plans and executes tests in line with internal standards; ensures completeness via risk assessment and supplementary tests.

Acts as test champion, standardizing test practices, templates, and infrastructure improvements.

Identifies risks and issues early, contributes to RCA and technical risk management processes.

Applies and promotes design guidelines, norms, and calculation tools within the team.

Actively collaborates and contributes to technical discussions with a preventive mindset.

Ensures alignment with engineering change management processes.

B.Sc., M.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or one of development engineering related disciplines

Strong technical knowledge in Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics, Heat Transfer, HVAC

Strong technical background and analytical thinking skills

Strong communication and presentation skills

Experience in agile working environment (sprints, PI planning, ...) and tools (JIRA)

Good command on English both written and spoken

Familiarity & experience with FMEA, FAM, 8D etc.

Familiarity & experience with SAP, MS Office

Able to work within international project teams with very good communication skills
