Intelligence Security Cooperation Analyst:

The Opportunity:

An Intelligence Security Cooperation Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting client’s efforts to build and maintain relationships with allied and partner nations with specific focus on intelligence capacity and capability. This is achieved through security cooperation programs that provide defense articles, services, and training to foreign governments. The analyst is involved in the entire planning process, from understanding national-level guidance to developing country-specific security cooperation plans. You’ll provide operational oversight and project management for intelligence security cooperation activities, ensuring that they align with U.S. foreign policy and defense objectives.

As an intelligence security cooperation analyst, you’ll bring your policy, process, authorities, and planning subject matter expertise to work on projects for the DoW. You’ll gather data and conduct gap assessments to provide recommendations for security cooperation operations, activities, and investments that gain access and build requisite allied and partner nation security force capabilities and capacity in partnership with US interagency and international contributors. You Have:

  • Experience with security cooperation planning and execution processes mandated by NDAA 17 and NDAA 2022, including Significant Security Cooperation Initiative (SSCI) and Building Partner Capacity (BPC) centric planning and proposal, or Partnership Assessment and Initiative Design Document (IDD) development
  • Experience with researching and analyzing the DoW and federal policies and directives and developing and presenting recommendations to support client requirements
  • Experience with coordinating and leading planning teams, working groups, and meetings with large groups
  • Knowledge of DoW institutional capacity building and the assessment, design, monitoring, and evaluation guidance and processes
  • Ability to be a self-starter, work independently and as part of a team, manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, analyze complex data, and prioritize tasks
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience working in U.S. government entities and DoW or DoS security cooperation or security assistance programs, OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience working in U.S. government entities and DoW or DoS security cooperation or security assistance programs

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with researching and analyzing legislation and federal regulations, with an emphasis on security cooperation topics
  • Experience with Security Cooperation Management or Security Cooperation Management Policy, Programs, and Planning
  • Knowledge of formal DoW and USMC staffing processes
  • Ability to develop detailed and high-quality material to include research documents, memoranda, slide presentations
  • Ability to communicate clearly with senior U.S. government officials, senior Partner Nation officials, and staff with a broad range of backgrounds and functional areas of expertise
  • Security Cooperation Basic Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
