Exercise Planner

The Opportunity:

As an exercise planner on our team, you’ll help develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content in support of improving emergency management, continuity of operations, and resiliency across the enterprise. You’ll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience developing and leading test, training, and exercise programs in support of continuity of operations or emergency management activities

• Experience contributing to after-action reports

• Knowledge of federal continuity and emergency management test, training, and exercise directives

• Ability to work with subject matter experts and senior leadership to develop comprehensive continuity and emergency management training and exercises

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience facilitating or leading government exercise in the Intelligence Community or for military organizations

• Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSSEP) or Federal Emergency Management Agency Master Exercise Practitioner Certification

Clearance:  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
