Cybersecurity Analyst
The Opportunity:
As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for an experienced cyber mission specialist like you to apply your knowledge in Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS), Risk Management Framework (RMF), and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) applications which are essential for managing the Army’s IT portfolio.
In this role, you’ll be counted on to understand cybersecurity postures to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will leverage cybersecurity operations systems to aggregate posture information that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our customer's mission area.
This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform system operators and senior leadership or commanders on the cybersecurity posture of the mission area. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:
-
4+ years of experience with cyber
-
3+ years of experience in working Risk Management Framework (RMF)
-
2+ years of experience with eMASS
-
Knowledge of the APMS application to perform search and validation activities
-
Knowledge of NIST 800-53r4 or NIST 800-53r5, NIST 800-37r2, and Army Regulations AR 25-2

Ability to coordinate cybersecurity and risk management efforts across organizations
-
Ability to support the integration of cybersecurity tools and processes to ensure interoperability and efficiency across Army networks

Ability to maintain compliance with Army policies and standards, identifying gaps in systems, and recommending solutions to strengthen operational effectiveness

TS/SCI clearance

Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:

Experience in Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) tools, such as STIGViewer, STIGMAN, EvalSTIG, or SCAP

Experience with staff coordination across the Army

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products

Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments and analysis

Ability to brief senior leaders

Ability to coordinate with stakeholders across the DoD

Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills

Possession of proactive, timely problem-solving and strong decision-making skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
