As a network engineer on our team, you’ll perform a wide range of installation, support, and maintenance functions on voice and data communication systems. You'll apply advanced principles, theories, concepts, and industry knowledge to solve system operational problems. You'll refer more complex issues to higher levels and work under direct supervision.

You Have:

• 5 years of experience configuring both hardware and software in a DoD environment
• 3 years of experience working with Cisco routing and switching technologies
• 3 years of experience working with VoIP or PBX telephony systems and software, hardware, or telecommunications standards
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time throughout Europe
• Secret clearance
• Associate’s degree

Nice If You Have:

• 3 years of experience with network engineering
• 3 years of experience with operating systems and software cybersecurity principles
• Experience with the U.S. Air Force Tactical Command and Control or Air Operations Center
• Experience with VMware, Linux, or Windows operating systems
• Ability to load virtual machines
• Bachelor's degree
• Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CompTIA Security, or ISC2 CISSP Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
