Defense Mission Professional:
The Opportunity:
Bring an in-depth understanding and expertise to identifying, analyzing, and evaluating complex or highly sensitive systems, policies, processes, or solutions pertaining to strategic, operational, and tactical battle management command and control (C2) for worldwide operations, and training in the future fight. Leverage a robust background in C2 operations to assist clients’ understanding and determine courses of action applying future fight constructs such as Centralized Command, Distributed Control, Decentralized Execution, Mission Type Orders, and Agile Combat Employment, to support evolution of theater air operations. Perform or lead operational and technical analyses for solving complex design, integration, requirements, training, and employment problems. Use your experience and analytical abilities to develop concepts of operations, concepts of employment, whitepapers, and tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve theater air operations. Work without considerable direction and provide work leadership to junior employees.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience supporting Air Force theater air operations issues, requirements, concepts of operations, and employment
- 10+ years of experience on an Air Force HQ or Air Force MAJCOM staff
- Experience working integrated air and missile defense operations, including counter-unmanned aerial systems concepts and doctrine
- Experience leading the development of MAJCOM or higher concept of operations or employment focused on tactical or operational C2, including primary author
- Experience with C2 air defense system development and concept of operations
- Experience with the organizational, training, and equipping responsibilities of Air Force MAJCOMs
- Knowledge of theater air operations and its elements’ evolutionary path, including the Air Operations Center, Wing Operations Center, AWACS, CRC, Battle Control Center, and Cloud-Based Command and Control
- Knowledge of the Advanced Battle Management Systems (ABMS) and Joint All-Domain C2 concepts and doctrine
- Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Air Combat Task Force and Department of War (DoW) Joint Interagency Task Force on C-sUAS weapon system acquisition and delivery
- Experience in the Air Force training systems and DoW requirements and acquisition process, including rapid prototype development
- Experience as a program manager or job leader
- Master’s degree
- Project Management Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
