As a Software Developer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll work with the development team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing features for a Java application

• Experience with Core Java, J2EE, Angular, or Spring Framework

• Experience coordinating with customers and stakeholders on requirements, negotiating on API design and specifications utilizing OpenAPI, and implementing changes

• Experience with web services

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with large database implementations and analysis

• Experience with Web Logic and JBOSS, web services such as SOAP or REST, myBATIS, Maven, ANT, databases, MySQL, NoSQL, or Oracle

• Experience with Angular or other JavaScript frameworks

• Experience in Agile or Scrum

• Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) policy or procedure analysis

• Experience with the Risk Management Framework

• Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities

• Ability to distill complex problems through the application of design patterns

• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

• CompTIA Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
