Financial Analyst

That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to make sure our client's resources can make the most impact.

As a Financial Analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help guide our client's decisions at the executive level. You’ll work with seniors across the client's organization to develop an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of government budget and finance rules and regulations, you’ll help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the Senior Resource Manager. This is your chance to work on high-level impactful work supporting national security while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team.

You Have:

• Experience managing portfolio-level funding strategies across appropriations, contract vehicles, and fiscal years

• Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau

• Knowledge of federal government finance tools such as BASIS, COGNOS, and Excel

• Ability to develop and track annual spend plans for major federal initiatives

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leadership and key stakeholders on budget status, spending, and appropriations

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

• Bachelor's degree in a Finance or Economics field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing guidance on data collection methodologies ensuring accuracy

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
