Develop detailed design specifications for products and structures. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. May assist in the development of solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision and provide guidance for less experienced team members.

You Have:

• Experience providing drafting support for Electronic and Mechanical Systems
• Experience with Auto

CAD and Solid Works:

• Experience working within a multi-discipline team environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, One Drive, Share Point, and Teams tool suite
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED and 9+ years of experience developing detailed design drawings and specifications, Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience developing detailed design drawings and specifications, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience developing detailed design drawings and specifications
• AutoCAD or Solid Works Certification such as Certified Solid Works Professional (CSWP) Certification
• Autodesk Certified Professional Certification for Auto

CAD or Inventor Certification:

Nice If You Have:

• Experience leading a team of drafters to complete project objectives
• Experience with document and design file control
• Experience using a PDM system to manage drawing packages including Auto Desk Vault or SOLIDWORKS PDM
• Experience design low and moderate complex components
• Experience with CAD analysis or simulation
• Experience working with existing or creating drawing standards, templates, and operating procedures
• Experience with Audio, Visual, Information Technology, or communication systems

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
