We’re looking for a modeling and simulation engineer like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting and agile environment.

As a modeling and simulation engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver complete end-to-end models to your clients. Using your software engineering experience, you’ll help analyze the environment to ensure that your team’s solutions consider the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering with C++

• Knowledge of engineering-level systems such as radars, RF sensors, RW, tanks, artillery, rockets, UAS, radios, and directed energy systems

• Ability to author technical documentation of produced models, including user manuals, software architecture description documents, and test description documents

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Git, CMake, Python, MATLAB, and La TeX

• Experience working with army ground systems

• Knowledge of established simulation environments, such as the Overarching Dynamic Electromagnetic Warfare Systems Simulation Architecture (ODESSA), Integrated Threat Analysis Simulation Environment (ITASE), or Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration, and Modeling (AFSIM)

• TS/SCI clearance

• Master's degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics preferred, Doctorate degree a plus

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
