The Opportunity:

As an Operational Planner you’ll bring your analytical, technical, and tactical expertise to work on projects for maritime fires. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes, as part of service/joint missions.

You’ll guide the work we do for the U.S. Navy and the solutions we deliver for defense mission planning.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD)

  • Experience serving on a flag or general officer staff

  • Experience in all phases of the military exercise planning cycle

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Graduate of the Naval War College Maritime Operational Planners Course (MOPC)

Nice If You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience support the Department of Defense at the O-4 level or higher preferred

  • Experience in a warfare area that focuses on the fires process such as Surface Warfare Officer or Field Artillery

  • Experience working in the Indo-Pacific AOR

Clearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
