Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Supplier Quality team is looking for a Quality Systems Specialist t o represent the Quality Management Representative (QMR) as a Deputy Quality Management Representative (DQMR) in Everett, Washington. The DQMR will report to the BCA Supplier Quality Functional Excellence team.

The successful candidate will monitor and maintain the health of the BCA Supplier Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsibilities

  • Continuously promote to the site or business unit the importance of the QMS and the commitment to the QMS

  • Support the health and maintenance of the QMS for the site or business unit

  • Support regular review of performance, effectiveness and trends of the QMS (Management Review)

  • Support the development of Quality Objectives for the site or business unit compatible with the strategic direction of BCA

  • Focal supporting all audit activities, including Internal, Corporate, FAA Quality System Audits (QSA), Principal Inspector (PI), and Supplier Control Audits (SCA)

  • Communication of audit activities and results

  • In-briefs, daily and closing meetings

  • Connect auditors to auditees and SMEs / help gather evidence / refute as needed Lead and/or support BPSMs; internally and at suppliers

  • Focal and status corrective action and opportunities for improvement commitments

  • Coordinate reviews and communication of changes to regulatory requirements (Regulatory Information Management)

  • Coordinate reviews and disposition of document revisions affecting Supplier Quality (Command Media, D docs, etc)

  • Support other FAA actions (Requests for Information, Informal CA, Voluntary Disclosures, FAA notifications for PC 700)

  • Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and leverage opportunities for the QMS

  • Support the resolution of Quality and QMS related Speak Up items

  • Perform self assessments of the SQ Organization (DQMR audits)

  • Special projects lead and/or support for QMS related issues

  • Coordinate quality communications, alerts and messages related to the QMS

  • Maintain the site or business unit’s key document list (Command Media and other docs)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

  • 3+ years of experience in collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data

  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • 3+ years of experience using excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited program

  • Experience with AS9001: International Aerospace QMS Standards

  • Experience with ISO9001: International QMS Standards

  • Experience with the Boeing Problem Solving Model (BPSM) and/or Systematic Problem Solving

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Summary pay range: $108,000- $138,000
