This position will focus on supporting the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS).

The Boeing Missile Defense Programs support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System to defend the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.

Position Responsibilities:Work with other industry partners as a key contributor to the design, development, and testing of Java-based mathematical algorithms into the C2BMC operational software applications.

Support full software development lifecycle including generating design artifacts, implementing software changes, supporting design and code reviews, software testing, and resolution of issues found during testing Actively participate in agile planning and execution using established processes Software Requirements and architecture development in support of MDS systems Develop, select, tailor and deploy integration and test processes, tools and metrics Execute and document integration and test activities and events Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Ability to obtain Secret U.S.

Security Clearance1+ years of experience in Unified Modeling Language (UML) or other software architecture and design modeling techniques1+ years of experience with Agile software development lifecycle Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years of experience using Git in a Linux environment2+ years of experience with Java1+ years of experience with weapon system use-cases Ability to implement MATLAB based algorithms into Java-based software.

Summary Pay Range for Associate level: $86,700 - $117,300Summary Pay Range for Experienced level: $107,100 - $144,900Summary Pay Range for Senior level: $127,500 - $172,500
