The Boeing Engineering & Technology Innovation is looking for a Materials, Processes and Physics Plating Line Technical Analyst to join the Specialty Materials and Integration team in Berkeley, Missouri
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced and Senior level Technical Analyst.
The Specialty Materials and Integration Team is looking for a Technical Analyst to provide Materials and Process, Research and Development support to Boeing Defense Systems development programs.
This group is responsible for providing Materials and Processes (M&P) support to Boeing Defense Systems development programs. We are also responsible for leading materials production efforts as well as identifying, developing, and transitioning specialty materials and technologies to platforms within Boeing Defense Systems. Position Responsibilities:

Operation of a complex, multi-tank, plating line.

Operation of scales and mixing equipment.

Operation of chemical dispensing equipment.
-
Production measurement recording.
-
Operation of waste water treatment line.
-
Inspection of plated material with various pieces of analytical equipment.

Operation of various pieces of lab or technical equipment
-
Learn new processes and manufacturing procedures in a production environment.

Work as part of a multi-disciplined integrated product team.

Work alongside other skilled technicians, engineers, and support staff to deliver materials to advanced programs.

Assist in test development, routine analysis of failed parts and processes, generation of data to evaluate failed mechanisms and documentation of findings.

Assist in developing and revising documents and technical requirements.

Participate in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology and processes to ensure that conformance and producibility requirements are met.

Support continuous improvement efforts by assisting with the design, fabrication and testing of new concepts and technology.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Experience working with chemicals (such as acids and plating salts).

Experience weighing and mixing materials.
-
Experience with plating systems and/or operating Human Machine Interface software.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
-
3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-
Experience with plating lines.
-
Experience with waste water treatment.
-
Experience with electroless plating.
-
Experience operating in a production environment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary Pay Range for Associate Level (Level 2): $53,550 - $72,450
Summary Pay Range for Experienced (Level 3): $64,600 -$87,400
Summary Pay Range for Senior Level (Level 4): $80,750 - $109,250
