Find your future with us. **Boeing Defense, Space & Security** (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a **Mid-LevelQuality Engineer **to join our team located in **Berkeley, MO!** This position will support procurement activity and supplier oversite supporting Phantom Works Specialty Materials group. Successful candidates will have a background in Supplier Quality and Materials and Processing. Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of specialty material maturation milestones with experience supporting material and supplier qualification. **This position requires a **Bachelor of Science from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry - Engineering - Computer Science - Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) - Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry **Position Responsibilities:** - Support early quality involvement with supplier establishing qualification planning - Creates Supplier Oversite planning for supplier produced specialty materials - Identify and mitigate risk in supply base - Engages Supplier Quality Regional support as needed - Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. - Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. - Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. - Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. - Works under general supervision **This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** - Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science - 3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) - 3 years of experience with quality Inspection and/or auditing - 3 years of experience with root cause analysis and corrective action (RCCA) methods - 3 years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** - 1 year experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment - Materials and process qualifications **Conflict of Interest:** Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process **Travel:** This position may require up to 10% travel. **Shift:** This position is for 1st shift At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
