Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supplier Quality team is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist. This position is to lead audits and assessments of supplier manufacturing systems, processes and products. It is also to document and report audit and assessment results, provide education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and compony initiatives, and develop training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.
Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products as planned ones under general supervision.

Inspects or verifies products and processes for compliance with requirements and documents findings.

Support assigned SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) in providing supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives

Provides technical expertise on specific manufacturing processes to suppliers as applicable.

Monitors quality, delivery, work in process, systemic issues and program impacts to determine needed corrective actions and improvements to supplier performance under general provision.

Interprets flow-down requirements and resolves supplier issues and concerns.

Perform preventive actions as well as corrective action activities with suppliers to address the root cause of quality issues.

Assists the implementation of prevention and built-in-quality approach through applicable tools and processes, such as APQP, SPC, Risk Management, etc.
Basic Qualification, Skills & Experience:
-
Has obtain a bachelor’s degree (or higer) on any Engineering related fields (e.g., Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and/or Industrial Engineering) with at least five or more years of relevant work experiences

Has strong knowledge of engineering interpretations from basic drawing system to MBD (Model Based Definition) environment

Has knowledge and experience within manufacturing, engineering, quality practices and processes.

Has experience in working with suppliers or partners including engineering and quality processes and management.

Has experience working in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of manufacturing processes with QMS (Quality Management System) engaged

Has experience working overseas and/or has worked with different cultures
-
Has good communication skills in both English and Korean language
Location:
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site (with some flex) at supplier’s locations in Busan / Gimhae and/or Sacheon areas.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates are to be in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Employer is not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
