Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Assest Servicing Engineering team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications across front-end and back-end systems.
• Lead the technical implementation of enterprise-grade software solutions using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive software quality through code reviews, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• 8-12 years of software development experience with strong backend expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot 3.
• Proven experience building and consuming APIs in a microservices architecture; familiarity with Reactive programming.
• Experience with event-driven messaging, preferably Kafka.
• Experience in Angular, React, JavaScript.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, or any No-SQL database.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants (Copilot/Windsurf/Cursor) and crafting effective prompts for code generation, refactoring, and test writing.
• Proficient in JUnit, Mockito for unit and integration testing. Familiarity with BDD using cucumber.
• Strong Git and GitLab skills, merge requests, CI/CD pipelines, and workflows. Exposure to Sonar Qube, Veracode.
• Strong communicator and collaborator; experienced in Agile/Scrum with JIRA, and Confluence.
• Financial services background is a plus.
