We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Data Scientist to join our team. This role location is in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Develop and communicate insights leveraging the scientific method, specializing in model science, feature science, and insight science capabilities.
  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to improve chatbot understanding, response accuracy, and user engagement.
  • Analyze large volumes of chatbot interaction data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into practical solutions and product enhancements.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine models to ensure robustness, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Stay current with emerging AI, NLP, and data mining techniques to innovate chatbot capabilities.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Supervise and guide junior team members, provide training in technical tools and business applications, and contribute to team objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent work experience; experience in related fields preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience, preferably in the securities or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models, preferably in NLP and chatbot domains.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages; familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and visualization tools.
