We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Custody Platform team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Analyze business requirements thoroughly before initiating design and development activities.
- Take ownership and initiative to drive tasks to completion, including analysis, development, and testing in collaboration with technology teams.
- Adhere to and enhance defined architecture, technology standards, and best practices for applications, middleware, and databases.
- Collaborate with architects and team members to design, prototype, and deliver software solutions; manage technical environments including software, data, interfaces, and integration; research new tools and technologies; and contribute to improved analytics solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, assist in debugging, and contribute directly to successful project delivery.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Expertise in using a specific application development toolkit and proficiency of front end and backend development coding languages such as Java, HTML, NodeJS, CSS, JSON, Angular, JavaScript..
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka or MQ.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, scalable high-resiliency systems, and workflow management preferred.
- Frontend skills in Angular (or React/JavaScript) and HTML.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and SDLC tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Git; testing tools including JUnit, Selenium, Mockito, Cucumber.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Windsurf, Cursor) and integration of AI-based processing (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini) to optimize technology and business processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of both frontend and backend development, including security principles, relational databases, and architecture design.
- Ability to provide senior-level technical consulting and evaluate compliance with technology standards.
- Skilled in writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code; developing tests and automation suites; and producing documentation.
- Active participation in code reviews and integration of software components into fully functional systems.
- Ability to apply security and privacy principles in software development.
- Experience collaborating with business groups to address implementation challenges and provide technical recommendations.
- Commitment to continuous learning, completing mandatory training, and staying current with emerging technologies.
- Mentorship skills to support junior engineers.
- Proficiency in application frameworks, containerization, and multiple development toolkits.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience leading technology implementations and consulting on structured methodologies is preferred.
- Broad experience with multi-platform development tools and toolkits.
