We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Global Client Management, to join our EMEA Growth team. This role is in Frankfurt, Germany.
Global Client Management is a Commercial Team, where we manage existing and prospective client relationships with the goals of ensuring client satisfaction and growing their business with BNY. We advise clients on the best way to achieve their strategic objectives through a solutions-oriented approach, and collaborate with partners across BNY to support the delivery of a seamless client experience.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Collaborate closely with the Country Manager for Germany, Switzerland, and Central Europe, supporting executive engagement with leading financial institutions and coordinating commercial strategies across markets.

Build trusted relationships by managing communications with senior stakeholders and delivering clear, transparent executive updates.
-
Translate market insights into targeted go-to-market strategies, identifying new business opportunities and driving sales growth through the origination and expansion of client relationships.

Drive disciplined pipeline management by forecasting, tracking conversion metrics, and proactively resolving qualification challenges to accelerate business development.

Work with product and coverage teams to tailor solutions for regional clients, ensuring clarity and distinct value in every proposition.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Fluency in German and English to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders across key markets.

5–7 years of experience, ideally in sales, business development, or client management within financial services.

A genuine curiosity for the financial services industry, with a drive to uncover new commercial opportunities and deliver client-focused solutions.

Strategic thinking to analyze market segments, geographies, and client challenges, and convert insights into actionable sales initiatives—from preparing persuasive talking points for major meetings to proactively addressing compliance risks.

Commercial mindset and ambition to excel as a client executive, with a strong orientation toward business growth and relationship building.

Advanced analytical, presentation, and communication skills to influence decision-makers and drive sales outcomes.

Proven ability to build relationships with diverse clients and colleagues, leveraging cultural awareness to expand commercial reach in a global environment.
Excellent time management and resilience under pressure, consistently delivering results and meeting sales targets within tight deadlines.
