About the role

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Corporate Medical Director to join our People Team / Benefits & Wellbeing team. This role is located in New York.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as the senior clinical advisor supporting the design of enterprise health, wellbeing, and benefit strategies, using medical expertise and data-driven insights to help shape programs that improve employee outcomes and manage health-related risk.
  • Advise senior leadership on executive health, travel health, and health-related business continuity risks, helping strengthen readiness and support continuity across critical roles and operations.
  • Provide strategic medical guidance on workforce health matters, including disease prevention, mental health, medical leave trends, return-to-work considerations, and complex or sensitive employee health cases.
  • Partner across the People Team, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Security, and business leadership to provide credible, objective, and practical medical counsel during high-impact decisions, escalations, and crisis response situations.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • MD or DO required; board certification strongly preferred, with an active and unrestricted medical license in good standing.
  • Extensive post-qualification clinical experience, ideally in occupational medicine, internal medicine, preventive medicine, population health, or a related specialty.
  • Experience working in a large, complex, and highly regulated organization, with preference for backgrounds in financial services, corporate health, consulting, insurance, or employer-sponsored health environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders on workforce health, medical benefit strategy, employee resilience, and sensitive health-related matters requiring sound judgment and discretion.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, and build credibility across a highly matrixed organization while balancing employee wellbeing, business needs, and governance requirements.
