We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting to join our Global Institutional Accounting team. This role is located in Amsterdam.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage own workload, including complex tasks and work within the team to meet client deadlines.
- Escalates risks to deadlines and/or NAV impacting issues promptly.
- Open strong communication links with colleagues/teams across the department and other operational areas, working collaboratively to resolve issues and meet client deadlines.
- Identify potential for process improvement initiatives to reduce errors and manual processing.
- Develop own knowledge, to include the financial products used by our clients, operational procedures within the department and those of our internal stakeholders and current market developments.
- Quick to develop new skills and a pro-active approach to learning and training, with a focus on digital tools.
- Understands and can respond to the varying demands experienced in a financial services environment.
- Self-motivator with a desire to contribute to the team's successes.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- C1 or higher proficiency in Dutch language
- 0-3 years of Experience required preferably from banking or accounting.
- Experience of Client Interaction
- Demonstrates and promotes strong attention to detail with effective organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise workload and escalate appropriately.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office products, in particular utilising Excel spreadsheets.
