We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund Settlements Administrator to join our Fund Settlements team. Pershing provides a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners and advisers across EMEA. We provide sophisticated front-end technology and flexible middle office capabilities with execution, settlement and custody services. These are supported by a robust regulatory and compliance framework with dedicated client asset experience and expertise. This role is located in Manchester.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

Cash and stock break resolution
Responsible for review, investigation and response to client queries
Day to day settlements duties and tasks
Chasing Fund Managers and Transfer Agents for outstanding information
Ensuring accounts are fully funded
Preparing and checking instructions
Monthly preparation of KRIs, Scorecard, Account Ownership and other required reports
Testing for releases, functional changes, and ad-hoc testing which can include weekend and early morning tests
Keeping procedures updated

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Essential:

Skilled in Microsoft Excel including confident use of formulas, lookups and pivot tables
Good attention to detail, prioritisation and time management required
Experience in dealing with clients over the phone and written (email)
Proactive approach to work and ability to adapt to change and use initiative to overcome challenges

Desirable:

Understanding of Funds and securities settlement - (desirable)
Use of SWIFT messaging software - (desirable)
Experience of reconciliations - (desirable)
