We are seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Trustee & Depositary Analyst, located in Zurich.

The Depositary Analyst function involves monitoring the fund’s cash flows, safekeeping of the fund’s assets and various oversight and control tasks, particularly in areas like asset valuation, calculation of the NAV, compliance with investment policies and restrictions, and transfer agent activity.

Furthermore, the analyst identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and is capable to collaborate in workstreams to realize the opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

• Assist management in maintaining and executing a comprehensive monitoring program

• Conducting a wide range of oversight activities, incl. NAV review, compliance of investment restrictions

• Participating in cash reconciliation and cash flow analysis activities

• Ensuring and evidence that the company has ownership of assets

• Offer support to the depositary management team in developing relationships with other teams

• Ensuring that all reviews and supporting documentation ('audit trail') are sufficiently and comprehensively documented and stored

• Participating on the site visits at the fund manager, fund administrator and other 3rd party delegates

• Liaising with fund managers to ensure that any errors, breaches and queries are appropriately logged and resolved in a timely manner

• Support the production of all necessary reporting

• Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients and their service providers

• Participate in work streams and forums to identify and realize continuous improvement
