We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Tax Reporting & Compliance to join our team. This role is located in Wroclaw.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Provide advanced operational support for the preparation and maintenance of tax records, returns, and reports for internal and/or external clients.

  • Coordinate tax-related regulatory filings and gather required data elements, as needed, for various regulatory filings.

  • Implement system and operational modifications to comply with significant regulatory changes.

  • Update tax forms and information return layouts.

  • Perform second-level quality assurance of tax deliverables for more complex clients in accordance with department policies.

  • Track data needed for tax calculations, perform straightforward data analysis, and resolve moderately complex data issues.

  • Identify missing data required for tax records and filings and liaise with others in the tax team to obtain the information.

  • Have no direct reports, but provide guidance to less experienced team members.

  • Be responsible for the quality and completion of own work, while contributing to the achievement of team objectives.

In line with our day-to-day processes, below are a few examples of expectations (for guidance only):

  • Processing/authorising activities within assigned market(s).

  • Handling complex issues with support, as needed.

  • Completing monthly reports for management.

  • Liaising with different teams and stakeholders to resolve issues.

  • Taking ownership of specific tasks and seeing them through to completion.

  • Providing supervisory support.

  • Working on department initiatives and projects.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a business- or legal-related discipline; however, we welcome applications from all fields of study, as we provide extensive training.

  • Preferably 3+ years of relevant professional experience.

  • Experience in Tax Reporting is beneficial.

  • Familiarity with tax documentation is useful.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • PC literacy and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues to the satisfaction of clients; proven experience with AI implementation in a business environment is an asset.

  • High level of accuracy and professionalism.

  • Proactive, focused attitude towards work and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
