We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer team in Wealth Services Platform. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Implement well-architected Java/Spring Boot microservices and APIs: build features and deliver production-ready code with strong testing.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems and ensure software is updated with latest features.
  • Apply security and privacy principles in application development.
  • Apply AI-assisted coding and AI coding practices to speed up development (prompting, code suggestions, test generation), while ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to API performance tuning to achieve less than 1 second response time.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategy (APIs, data models, reliability, observability, scalability).
  • Collaborate closely with tech leads and product partners to refine requirements, acceptance criteria, and sprint goals.
  • Improve developer productivity through automation, better tooling, and CI/CD improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, assist in debugging, and contribute directly to project deliverables.
  • Continuously learns and pragmatically applies new tools/techniques to improve outcomes.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in building large-scale, complex software programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Strong interest in enterprise data and working knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Micro-Services Architecture and scalable high resiliency systems
  • Familiar with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong full stack development experience with all latest technologies
  • Familiar with CICD, Maven, JIRA, GIT, UNIT Testing
  • Prompt engineering for code/tests with verification steps; avoid blind acceptance of generated code.
  • AI First approach to all activities of development, testing and operationalizing any solution
  • Experience in financial services preferred.
