We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President  to join our Wealth Services Platform RFP team. This role is located in New York, NY.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Contribute to end to end RFP design and development.
  • Execute RFP strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Partner with senior business leaders, product teams, and client relationship managers to position the firm competitively in RFP responses.
  • Oversee the end-to-end RFP lifecycle: intake, analysis, response development, quality review, submission, and post-mortem feedback.
  • Ensure responses are accurate, compliant, and differentiated, reflecting the firm’s strengths in wealth and financial services.
  • Implement and leverage AI-driven RFP automation tools (e.g., RFPIO, Loopio, or custom AI solutions) to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Explore opportunities to improve generative AI and natural language processing for drafting, content tagging, and knowledge management.
  • Collaborate with AI Hub and innovation teams to integrate AI, data analytics, and workflow automation into the RFP process.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (investment, operations, compliance, and technology) to ensure responses are aligned with client needs.
  • Continuously improve processes, templates, and content management through technology and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and brand standards.
  • Contributes to the end-to-end pursuit management process throughout the sales cycle. 
  • Owns and builds targeted propositions, best-in-class pricing options and ensuring collaborative communication within the sales process. 
  • Acts with sales pursuit teams by formulating pricing strategies and evaluating deal competitiveness, which includes analyzing historical data, constructing financial models, forecasting outcomes, and assessing potential risks.
  • Contributes to the sales process schedule by assisting with timely communication with key stakeholders.
  • Plans regular client interactions, including RFPs and new opportunities.
  • Helps address compliance or regulatory issues throughout the deal lifecycle.
  • Analyzes historical data, develops financial pricing models, and performs risk assessments.
               

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • 5 years of experience or more in deal management within financial services, asset/wealth management, or banking.
  • Proven track record of supporting RFP teams.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management products, investment solutions, and financial regulations.
  • Expertise in AI/ML applications, automation tools, and knowledge management systems.
  • Experience with project management fundamentals.
  • Skilled in professional writing and communication.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior executives.
  • Strategic thinker with an innovation mindset.
  • Attention to detail and deep technical acumen in AI and automation tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching abilities, and people development skills.
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into client-centric messaging.
  • Resilient, agile, highly collaborative, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Voracious learner.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation in Deal Management delivery.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
