Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager  to join our Fund Accounting team. The area of business focuses on preparing and calculating accurate Net Asset Values (NAVs) across all funds in accordance with BNY standard operating procedures, providing services to all clients and ensuring that client concerns/requests are addressed as soon as possible and within an agreed timetable. This role is located in Wrocław.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Managing the performance of a multi-client fund accounting team
  • Managing client relationships and resolving any escalated fund accounting issues
  • Providing guidance to a team under supervision to ensure that accounting records are maintained in accordance with regulations and departmental policies and procedures
  • Ensuring necessary controls are in place and adhered to in order to provide complete, accurate and timely fund administration services to clients
  • Leading working relationships with all parties involved in fund accounting processes
  • Recruiting, directing and developing staff under supervision, maximizing their individual contribution and professional growth 

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • At least 7 years of experience, preferably in finance related area, accounting background would be an asset
  • Third level qualification, preferably in accounting/business related discipline
  • Strong financial knowledge, especially relating to the financial instruments
  • Very good English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Analytical skills
  • Responsibility for your tasks, timeliness and reliability
  • Experience in people management is preferred
