We’re seeking a future team member for the role **Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting Representative,**to join our Fund and Client IS Ops team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of fund accounting activities by applying deep knowledge in accounting principles and practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and enhance process efficiencies, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.
- Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, thereby supporting the integrity of financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting best practices and process improvements to elevate service quality.
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate financial data processing.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, enabling efficient and precise financial operations.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous but not required.
