About the role
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- This role manages the entirety of the ACH Processing unit for Payments Enablement SDG group under Payments processing.
- Ensures best-practice approaches for streamlining and optimization processes through workflow design and technology.Applies in-depth knowledge and expertise on service offerings.
- Proactive assessment and resolution of complex transaction issues.
- Develops process for quality improvement and systems to test and maintain cash processing and transactions management.
- Acts as an escalation point for complex problems that less experienced resources cannot solve.
- Responsible for crafting solutions and methods to resolve issues at hand and similar issues in the future.
- Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contributions, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
- Manages one or more Cash Processing and Funds Transfer teams.Responsible for achievement of team goals.
- Ensures team is equipped to operationalize and attain team objectives.
- Manages the human resources of the team, including coaching, performance management and career development.
- May manage financial resources of the team (budgets, expenses, etc.).
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 1-3 years in management preferred.
- This is a critical management role needed with extreme industry knowledge regarding the ACH Batch process.
- We are seeking external industry knowledge as we are currently undergoing ACH modernization and will need industry experience for both internal and external communications.
- Experience in financial investments preferred.
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
