We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Lead, Enterprise Compute Virtualization Platforms to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. This role is in NY/NJ.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead and manage teams responsible for enterprise compute virtualization platforms and services.
• Define and execute strategy for virtualization technologies across on-premises and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Oversee design, implementation, lifecycle management, and optimization of virtualization platforms.
• Ensure platform availability, resiliency, capacity, and performance meet business and operational requirements.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred12-15 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with significant experience in compute and virtualization platforms.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing managers and technical teams.
• Deep expertise in enterprise virtualization technologies such as VMware v Sphere/ESXi, Nutanix, Open Shift virtual infrastructure management, clustering, HA/DRS, and related ecosystem tools.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $155,000 and $175,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
