Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Lead the design and development of complex, responsive, and highly interactive web applications using Angular

• Build modular, reusable, and maintainable UI components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Implement state management, routing, lazy loading, and performance optimizations in Angular applications

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality user interfaces

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (a11y), and responsive design best practices

• Write unit and component tests for frontend code using Jasmine, Karma, and related tools

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, with advanced degree preferred

• 5+ years of hands‑on Angular development experience

• Strong expertise in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design

• Experience building large-scale, enterprise-grade UI applications

• Solid understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and testing

• Familiarity with modern UI/UX principles and accessibility standards Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot

• Integrate Angular applications with backend services and third‑party APIs

• Ensure secure, efficient data exchange between frontend and backend layers

• Contribute to backend logic, data models, and API contracts as needed

• Deploy and support applications on BNY private cloud or public cloud platforms

• Work with CI/CD pipelines for frontend and backend builds, testing, and deployments

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud environments

• Participate actively in architecture, UI standards, and design discussions

• Conduct code reviews with a strong focus on frontend quality, maintainability, and performance

• Mentor junior developers, especially in Angular and frontend best practices

• Work closely with product managers, designers, QA, and backend teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend and integration issues
