We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our Fund Services Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Design, develop, and maintain database solutions for security reference data, corporate action entitlement and processing, and related fund accounting needs
  • Develop, debug, and performance-tune complex Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and functions for high-volume, mission-critical workloads.
  • Model and maintain Eagle database tables; ensure alignment with the Eagle data model and downstream consumption patterns.
  • Build robust, scalable data ingestion pipelines and transformation logic across Eagle RDC and Eagle Automation Center; implement monitoring, alerting, and recovery processes.
  • Partner with business and operations teams to interpret security master and corporate action requirements; translate them into technical design and data workflows.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks, lineage tracking, and control implementation in financial data environments.
  • Corporate action entitlement and processing experience (e.g., dividends, splits, mergers, optional events) and their impact on positions, NAV, and reporting.
  • Exposure to pricing vendors and market data feeds, and how they integrate into Eagle reference data.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database code (e.g., automated testing, code promotion, schema management).
  • Experience with performance diagnostics (AWR/ASH, execution plans) and tuning in Oracle.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance practices and audit/compliance considerations for financial services.
  • Experience mentoring and leading small technical teams or initiatives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience developing in SQL, with strong command of query optimization, indexing, partitioning, and data modeling.
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Eagle application, including RDC, Uploader, and Message Center.
  • Strong understanding of Eagle database tables and the Eagle data model; ability to map business requirements to Eagle structures.
  • General understanding of fund accounting with emphasis on security reference data (e.g., security master attributes, pricing, classifications, identifiers).
  • Oracle PL/SQL expertise, including writing/debugging/performance tuning large, complex stored procedures and packages in high-throughput environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methods; proficiency with Jira, git, and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and remediation for production incidents; improve resiliency through performance tuning, indexing strategies, and partitioning.
  • Establish and maintain development standards, code reviews, and documentation across Confluence and version control (git).
  • Work within Agile teams using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking; contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory, audit, and operational requirements are incorporated into solution design.
