We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• As Oracle SQL / PLSQL expert,

Understand existing processes, task schedules and its implication to Sec Lending business

• Build, design, enhance SQL queries as part of application upgrades

• Bug Fixes

• Fix SQL queries and / or data pipelines via documented SDLC process. Provide tactical and strategic fixes as needed

• Operate mission-critical systems and deliver day-to-day enhancements across Sec Lending Agency and Principal business

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize Oracle queries & provide technical oversight

• Document current processes, job schedules and proactively understand its usage in the context of Securities Lending business

• Design and develop core components in Java or Python

• Work closely with business analysts, PO and analyze requirements

• Create and implement system testing procedures

• Collaborate and work with other teams in a platform operating model

• Analyze and support vendor software

• Stakeholder management

• Project Prioritization

• Delivery & Maintenance for the applications within Equities domain

• Provide second level support

• Usage of AI tools like Gitlab/Windsurf/ Co-Pilot

• Develop Unit Test Cases with a view to integration into CI/CD pipeline

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in computer science/ engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required

• 10+ years of experience in software development required

• Strong proficiency & commercial development with Oracle, SQL and Git (only familiarity is NOT sufficient)

• Proficiency with Data Standards & Data Modelling

• Proficiency with text-based formats like YML & JSON

• Core Java or Python commercial development experience (only familiarity is NOT sufficient)

• Familiarity with testing patterns and dev ops

• Familiarity with cloud / containerization

• Comfortable in Windows and Linux environments

• Good to have

• Investment banking experience around Securities Lending, Fixed Income Products

• Experience in the securities or financial services industry with focus on Fixed Income Products – Treasuries, Corporate Bonds, Agencies, Commercial Paper, Mortgages.

• Previous experience designing and implementing new systems and features independently

• Developed market data feeds and feeds to downstream systems

• Understanding of trade life cycle events for fixed income

• Understanding of regulatory landscape from a developer perspective
