We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fiduciary Oversight Management to join our team. This role location can be located in Pittsburgh PA, Philadelphia PA, Greenville DE, Lake Mary FL, or New York NY.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Manage first line of defense regulatory oversight activities focused on fiduciary account administration.

  • Provide approvals and oversight for fiduciary account administrative reviews and resolve escalated compliance issues as needed.

  • Maintain thorough knowledge of financial services rules, fiduciary regulations (including Regulation 9), portfolio management, and fiduciary account administration.

  • Stay abreast of existing and proposed legislation, regulatory announcements, and industry practices to identify compliance requirements and risks.

  • Collaborate with business units to develop, implement, and validate procedures and controls that ensure compliance with fiduciary laws, rules, and regulations.

  • Assist regional managers in responding to regulatory or audit reports related to fiduciary oversight.

  • Manage multiple complex projects, owning timelines and leadership expectations to meet business and regulatory objectives.

  • Foster strong relationships across client service teams to support fiduciary compliance and risk management.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Advanced degree or certifications in compliance or regulatory affairs desirable (e.g. JD, CTFA)

  • Typically 7-10 years of experience in Wealth Management or related industry.

  • Strong knowledge of OCC Regulation 9

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Proven track record in regulatory compliance and risk management strategies.

    BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $68,000 and $122,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

    This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
