We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Research – IM to join our Investment Management team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Proficient use of Macrobond with prior research background preferred
- Building and maintaining Macro pack and positioning
- Governance packs
- Ad hoc research
- Thematic and country level research contributing to the broader team effort
- Trade idea generation and broad contribution to the Macro book
- Combination of implementation duties and research including: trade record keeping, trade proposal, daily overdraft monitoring and managing cash balances, month-end rebalancing, option trade management (trade life cycle/cash management for premiums), and P&L reconciliation
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Minimum of 10 years work experience with understanding of macroeconomics, research, currency markets and/or trading of global macro assets
- Experience in fixed income and understanding of fixed income markets and products
- Experience in the investment management industry with exposure to institutional client relationships, mandates, and constraints
- Strong IT skills in MS Excel or databases (Access, SQL), Tableau, etc. Working knowledge of data systems such as Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters Eikon, or Macrobond
- Degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, mathematics, computer science, or other related areas
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in negotiation, conflict management, networking, and working across all levels of management
- Ability to handle cross-cultural communications with strong judgment and leadership skills
- Strong presentation, articulation, and facilitation skills
