We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Investment Product Manager to join our team. This role is located in New York, NY.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead go-to-market activities and ongoing product management for the growth of brokerage investment capabilities, including Private Markets across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, hedge funds, sports and entertainment, and more.
- Collaborate with distribution, sales, and marketing teams to plan and execute product launches, drive adoption, and enhance client engagement.
- Monitor engagement, pipeline, and trends; implement actions to improve adoption, retention, and AUM growth.
- Construct and maintain a competitive universe of alternative investments, informed by client insights, advisor feedback, and market intelligence.
- Interpret complex fund, advisor, and client requirements and partner closely with Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Legal to deliver intuitive, compliant, and scalable product experiences across the full lifecycle.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, analyses, and reporting for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Oversee cross‑functional coordination throughout the product lifecycle
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Proven record of leading complex, regulated product portfolios at scale with measurable commercial outcomes (AUM growth, margin expansion, adoption).
- 10-12 years of total related work experience preferred, including product management, operations, and client management
- 5+ years in product management, investments, or alternatives distribution; expertise in private markets (PE, private credit, infrastructure, hedge funds) and brokerage channels.
- Analytical fluency in product economics, pricing models, and financial modeling; comfort leading data and analytics initiatives.
- Strong understanding of due diligence, fund onboarding, operational processes, and compliance frameworks across the product lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred.
- MBA or CFA or Product Leadership Certification preferred.
- Intellectual curiosity with strong critical operations and systems thinking
- Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business; FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 65 or 66

Additional Compensation Information:
BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $165,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
